Acidity Activators

There is a large percentage of people these days who are being affected by an acidic system. I venture to say the majority of us even, are very regularly operating from an acidic rather than a healthy Alkaline state.

Research has advised that when our bodies are acidic it leaves us more open to diseases. Acidic conditions encourage fungal, bacteria and virus growth, as well as contribute greatly to the onset of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, increased free-radical damage, osteoporosis and a range of other debilitating and aging conditions.

Emotions, especially those “negative” ones we are suppressing or denying have probably the most constant acidic effect on your body. This is inclusive of the fact they are prerequisites to us consuming the most acidic food groups, mainly because these foods are capable of assisting us in pushing our emotions down.

Suppressed emotions like anger, fear, shame, envy, grief and stress are acidic. The toxic residue of these can be released if they are allowed to be felt and to flow out. (Emotion comes from the Latin roots Ex and Motio, signifying outward movement). Alkalising emotions are the ones with natural fluidity like kindness, love, compassion, prayer, truth and peace. Plus emotions cannot be changed by the mind alone, they need to be emotionally felt to be released or flow out, whether negative or positive.

The bottom line regards food is that fruits and vegetables are the most Alkaline foods we can consume. Some of these products are more Acidic than others including blueberries, cranberries, plums, cherries. Lemons, Watermelon and Mangos are amongst the most Alkaline. Potatoes (without skins) along with cooked spinach, beans etc. are the most acidic vegetables, however Raw spinach is the most Alkaline along with some other raw vegetables.

ALL flesh meats are the most Acidic and most Dairy products (except goat milk and cheese),along with any Aerated drinks, alcohol, coffee, wheat, pasta and most nuts, chocolate and most sweeteners (especially the sweetener alternates). I strongly encourage you to research this subject of Acid Activators further, there are food charts available by a quick Google.

A wise friend once said “Supermarkets are like Mausoleums, with food lying in estate”. I thoroughly agree, Processed foods particularly need to be left lying where they rest.
